Valentine's day. Who can tell me the meaning of Valentine's day? Is it a day to show the people you love how much you love them or appreciate them? Or is it a day for the card and candy makers of the world to make their profit for the year.
For me Valentine's day is just another day. I try to show those that I love each day how much I appreciate them by making dinners, cleaning house, calling or sending emails, the list can go on. I don't need a day to show that and I certainly don't need to spend $4 on a card to show it either. It is also a day that I don't look forward to because it means that my children will be coming home with a nice sugar high from all the sweets and it will continue through the weekend, that is until I get a moment where the kids are not looking and can throw some of it away. Yes, I am that parents because if you ever saw my kids on a sugar high, it aint pretty.
So for this Valentine's day, just to make you all aware, don't expect any pretty cards, candy or flowers because they aren't coming. I will be sure to make my family dinner and a nice dessert and that is that.
I do hope that you do have a great and lovly day. XOXOXO

I am truley blessed
As I sit here this morning watching Handy Manny with the kiddos I realize that God has truely blessed me. Not only did he give me a wonderful husband but two beautiful, spunky, sassy girls. Now if you know my girls, you know that they have their dads energy. It is a 100 mph or nothing. But this morning was different.
This morning I am sitting on the couch catching up on facebook, getting some ISR work done and some other random things. Also during this time I am getting my hair done from both sides by both girls, my nails files and makeup being applied. I feel like I am at the salon, only that the salon is ran by a six and three year old.
I am the luckest mom ever.
Now if only I could teach them to actually color my hair in order to cover all the gray, cut the hair and actually paint my nails without getting it all over my fingers, than that would save me a bundle of money and time.

What the heck am I doing?
So I have several cousins and friens who blog and I being the person I am check in on them frequently to catch up. I always think to myself how cute they are and what a great way to keep up. All the cute backgrounds, pictures, posts, creative writing. So then I begin thinking that I can do all that too. What a great way to keep a journal. Soooo...I set out in the process of setting up this blog and let me tell you it has not been a easy task for me at all. First I am completely computer stupid so by the time I figure something out it has taken me several times, which then causes me to have to sign back into the account and well let us just say it has been a process. A process that I am determined to do on my own with no help from Curt (which as most know, all my projects require some help from him.) So which me luck cause I will need it in this one.
